Ditzie Digi Design challenge blog launch!

Ditzie Digi Design
The time has arrived for us to launch and put into action our new challenge blog for Ditzie Digi Designs.
For those of you who haven't heard of this before, I am part of an exciting new venture with some fabulous artists to create digital images for you all to colour.
There are a range of different styles of drawing being done so there is something for everybody!  New images are being added all the time...... Check out the Etsy store to grab some of you own.
Our theme for this challenge is
and here is my inspiration card.
I have used an image by a very talented artist called Kelly Rhodes.
At the time of writing this post, this image isn't in the store but I bet she will be by the time this goes live!!!
This is an 8x8 card to make the most of the colouring,  She is of course coloured with my brand spanking new copics.  The papers are just plain Kraft and hammered bronze card.  The numbers sheet is a section from a sheet of Graphic 45 'old curiosity shop' papers...... I thought the colours were perfect together.  The wings and cog are wooden cuts from Ditzie Designs and I cant get enough of them!!
Check out the challenge blog (link at the top of post) to see the full rules and what else the talented DT have been doing with a wide selection of images.

and we are asking you to
I have used the beautiful new Marabelle set from Santoro which is available very soon in store.
I absolutely love this collection so had to use it!!  I have made a box and a matching card for a very special friend's birthday on Monday.

All trimming, flowers and metal embellishments all from That Craft Place, and the swirls are cut on my cameo, which I also got from there!
Here is the card to go with the box

Again all trimmings are from TCP and the beautiful wooden locket is a Ditzie Design original!!
Did you know.... not only is Lisa doing her own wonderful embellishments but she has also launched her own digital images.... there are some fantastic new designs over in the etsy shop, with more being added all the time and even new rubber and clear stamps on their way!!
I am so honoured to have been asked by Lisa to design some images myself!!  I have drawn on my fashion background for my first set.  Pop on over to

That Craft Place Challenge- Charming

Happy New Year and welcome to our first challenge of 2014 from
Our challenge this time is
so you must use a charm of some sort, somewhere on your project.
I have used two!!
I have used a gorgeous little wish box locket charm on the string and also a cute little bird on the tag.  Both charms are available the shop, as are the metal embellishments, the foliage, the kraft paper and the lace.   The image is 'Willow', a digital image from Saturated Canary and she has been coloured using copics (also available from our Lisa!)  The tag says Happy Birthday!
So if you want to take part in this challenge then check out my fellow DT members projects, the rules and the linky over on our challenge blog.

A Very Merry Christmas from the 'That Craft Place' challenge design team

So how many of you are like me and completely disorganised??
I had such good intentions as well!
And yes, I do still have cards to make!!
Over at That Craft Place we have one more challenge for you this year and its everyone's favourite
I am showing you a few of my last minute CAS Christmas cards.  These are so easy to do but I am really pleased with how they look and I have had great feedback from those who have received them. I have made all my Christmas cards like this, this year. I have just coloured various different stamps, rubber and digital with copics and mixed them with different sentiments, drawn a border 2cm in from the edge and mounted and layered.  Some have had glitter added, others have had gems and some have even had a bit of snow tex.  But all in all they have been kept very clean and simple.  They were a joy to make and so quick and easy.  Just perfect when running short of time and having to do lots.  I hope you like them.
A little bit of snow tex makes all the difference.

The first two are of course this years Winter Wonderland Magnolias (which I just adore) and the third is a digital image from Saturated Canary.  The sentiment on this one is from Stampendus and I think it is just perfect for this image.
Don't forget to add your makes to our challenge blog and have a very wonderful Christmas

I would like to enter the following challenges x
